Sunset ILS at Southend Airport

Flying an ILS approach at the edge of night at London’s Southend Airport, during a gusty December evening. Watch as I HAND fly two ILS approaches down to minimums with a 35knot crosswind down the IAP and windshear at lower levels.

I make a dramatic go-around over Southend-on-Sea as an ATR departs before making one more stunning approach, with low level windshear causing a last minute change of action. Was I correct in my decision?
