April Showers

With a convergence line forming between the Dover Strait and Le Mans, we had to navigate around Cumulonimbus to get to France.  This IFR flight was aided by the Golze ADL200 allowing us to locate and plan our way through at a relatively low level, and ensure weather avoidance.

Sadly less than an hour before we departed one aircraft went missing in this weather, highlighting the risks that we face as pilots.   The ADL200 is used to aid situational awareness and not to penetrate weather with embedded systems.
